Terms of use

The short version

Use LeadBox to find businesses you have a real reason to contact. Do not use it to spam people or to resell the data as a database of your own. The information comes from public sources and can be out of date, so check it before you rely on it. It is free today.

• One account per person, and you look after your password.
• Contact businesses for genuine business reasons.
• No bulk spam, no reselling the data, no automated scraping.
• We cannot promise the information is complete or current.

Who you are agreeing with

LeadBox is operated by SaaS Simplified, run by Enow Divine, in Buea, Cameroon. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean SaaS Simplified, and “you” means the person using LeadBox.

Using LeadBox means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.

Your account

To use the tool you need an account. By creating one you confirm that:

• you are 18 or older;
• the name and email address you give are real;
• you will keep your password to yourself;
• you are responsible for whatever is done with your account.

What you may use it for

LeadBox exists so you can find businesses to approach: customers to sell to, suppliers to buy from, partners to work with. You may contact them, keep your own notes, export your lists, and share those lists inside your own team.

What you then say to those businesses is yours, and so is the responsibility for it.

What you may not do

Please do not:

• send unsolicited messages in bulk, by WhatsApp, SMS or email;
• resell, publish or redistribute LeadBox's data as a list or database of your own;
• use scripts, bots or any automated means to pull data out of the tool;
• contact anyone who has asked you to stop, or harass a business;
• use LeadBox for anything against Cameroonian law;
• pretend to be someone else, or share your account with others.

If you do any of these we may suspend or close your account, usually after asking you to stop first.

The information can be wrong

LeadBox gathers details that businesses and public sources have published. Shops close, numbers change, and a public record is only as current as its last update. We clean up what we can and we mark the records a person has checked, but we cannot promise a list is complete or correct.

Check before you act on it, especially before you print it, build a campaign on it, or make a promise to a client about it.

Other people's terms also apply

Some of the data is not ours to license:

• OpenStreetMap data is published by its contributors under the Open Database Licence, which requires attribution if you republish it.
• Google Maps content is subject to Google's own terms, which limit how long it may be stored and what may be done with it. That is why details from Google expire out of LeadBox after about 25 days.

If you export a list, these limits travel with it.

When you contact a business

You are the sender, not us. The rules about unsolicited messages are therefore yours to follow, as are WhatsApp's own terms if that is the channel you use.

If a business asks you to stop, stop. If a business asks us to remove it, we will.

What it costs

Nothing today. LeadBox is free while it is new.

That can change. If a paid plan arrives we will tell you before anything is charged, and you will have to choose it. Nothing will start billing your account on its own.

Changes and interruptions

LeadBox is actively being built. Features will change, some will be removed, and the service may be unavailable while we work on it.

We do not promise any particular level of availability. If something important breaks, telling us on WhatsApp is the fastest way to get it looked at.

Limits of our responsibility

LeadBox is provided as it is. We are not responsible for business you did not win, a deal that fell through, a call that reached a disconnected number, or any loss that follows from using the information here.

Where the law allows a limit to be set, our total liability is capped at what you have paid us for LeadBox, which today is nothing.

Ending it

You can stop using LeadBox whenever you like, and you can ask us to delete your account.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that is costing other users their service. Where we reasonably can, we will warn you first.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version appears on this page and the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to use LeadBox after a change means you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cameroon.

If there is a dispute we cannot settle between us, it goes to the competent courts of Cameroon.
